NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 15, 2005--Bodisen Biotech, Inc.,
(stock symbol: BBOI, website: /)
announced today that it has completed the construction of its new
609,840 square foot manufacturing facility. The new facility will
double the annual production of Bodisen's organic fertilizer from
100,000 metric tons to 200,000 metric tons.
Ms. Qiong Wang, CEO of Bodisen, commented, "Although we will
report record earnings for year 2004, we were unable to completely
satisfy overwhelming customer demand for Bodisen branded products
because of our production capacity of 100,000 metric tons. We are
very pleased that our new manufacturing facility will double last
year's production output to 200,000 metric tons, which will enable
us to meet growing customer demand for our products. We have also
ordered an additional three sets of new production lines, which will
further expand our production capabilities."
Ms. Wang continued with her comments on the market environment:
"One of the major milestones in the Chinese agricultural industry in
the last few decades took place in recent months, which is the
Chinese government's initiation of pro-farmer policies that have
given farmers both long term ownership rights as well as increased
disposable income to spend on fertilizers. As a result, we are
seeing a very favorable market environment for our products as
farmers are able to put more financial resources to the enrichment
of soil in their fields. As we continue to expand our products lines
as well as marketing efforts, we foresee record 2005 sales and
earnings."
